My writing focuses on campus and Miami based community stories that elevate student voices and highlight real-world impact.
Through an in-depth reporting series on food insecurity and the university food pantry, I examined both the challenges students faced and the systems designed to support them.
The coverage sparked increased awareness and meaningful improvements within the pantry, making the story one of the most recognized and talked-about pieces on campus. By publishing both the initial report and a follow-up, I strive to practice journalism that is not only informative, but capable of creating change.

Executive Producer
As an Executive Producer for a student magazine show, I led editorial planning and oversaw the production of a multi-segment broadcast from concept to execution.
I worked closely with reporters, anchors, and technical crews to shape story pitches, build show rundowns, and manage timing in a live-to-tape studio environment. This role strengthened my leadership, decision-making, and ability to guide a team through fast-paced productions while maintaining editorial vision and broadcast standards.
